Kanye’s selling his ranch in Cody, Wyoming. Homie bought said ranch for eight million dollars and is now attempting to sell for eleven million. It seems the reason for selling has to do with him finding significantly better housing in Malibu and/or Belgium. The initial purchase of the ranch was rumored to be Kim’s decision -pre-divorce, obviously- and there’s some speculation about how expensive it really was, ranging from eight to fourteen million. Though general opinion among Cody citizens seems to lean towards eight.

Is there any real harm in Kanye selling his ranch? No. However, it feels almost like the end of an era in the minds of Wyomingites. Our first big celebrity who wanted to live here is done with us. The scandal about Jeffree Star and Kanye West having an affair because they both lived in Wyoming is a bygone era now. We won’t necessarily miss you, Kanye. But we’ll be bummed out for like, a week, once you’re gone. So thanks for visiting long enough to get our hopes up.
